A recharge reached succeeded, in_progress_manual, refunded or failed; the event name ends with the status. in_progress_manual — the issuer did not carry it out, manual review follows and usually ends with succeeded or refunded. On failed and refunded the debit has been returned. A recharge rejected at once with 422 on POST /cards/recharge produces no event.

  • pending — the issuer did not answer, the outcome is being reconciled
  • succeeded — funds are on the card
  • in_progress_manual — the issuer did not carry it out or the outcome is unknown; manual review, the debit stays until resolved
  • refunded — cancelled after manual review, the debit is returned
  • failed — rejected up front or during reconciliation, the debit is returned
